It is a device that enables accurate separation of material fractions that differ in density of grains and, in consequence, also in the factor of aerodynamic resistance – chiefly rock grades.
The ELMECH-GIG sorter was designed and engineered with use of advanced technology so that to achieve high efficiency of processes associated with separation of mineral materials combined with cost-efficiency, low consumption of power, environment-friendly properties as well as easy operation and maintenance.
The separation is carried out for raw materials with their natural content of moisture.
To improve purity of final products the material prior to pneumatic separation can undergo the process of preliminary screening to classify the feed into uniform classes of gain sizes. If so, each class of grain sizes is individually forwarded to pneumatic separation.
The sorter is supplied from the three-phase electric power mains with the voltage of 400 V and its total power consumption is 25 kW.
The device efficiently classifies both dry and wet materials with grain sizes from 0 to 50 mm and is capable to achieve the throughput of 5 tons per hour.
